Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 (minimum)
- Relevant Sales/Marketing qualifications advantageous
- 3 year’s experience in a similar role.
- Logistics, importation, customs, and clearing experience in the supply of products from a foreign country.
- Experience in quoting and costing.
- Highly motivated individual
- Networking and communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work in a highly pressurized environment.
- Experience in a CRM system will be advantageous.
- Well organized with an attention to exacting detail
- A minimum requirement of Basic Excel Skills (Advantageous: Intermediate Excel Skills)
- Strong communication skills at all levels, both written and oral
Job Responsibilities:
- Negotiate preliminary contracts with customers.
- Develop customer accounts and offer additional value-added services.
- Communicate sales or service opportunities and customer concerns or suggestions.
- Ensure that RFQ forms are filled out correctly and submitted in an efficient manner.
- Manage group service accounts.
- Work with the technical team to ensure customer project requirements are met.
- Stay abreast of OEM’s product and service offerings.
- Communicate with suppliers and OEMs efficiently and timeously.
- Advise the Divisional Manager should there be any challenges with suppliers and OEM relationships and accounts.
- Provide the back office with the correct and relevant documentation to load new suppliers.
- Assist Technical Service Agent Team Leader with day-to-day administrative duties including costings, quotes, closeouts, and capturing of job-related documentation.
- Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
- Identify and resolve client concerns; recommend a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future.
- Arrange logistics, importation, customs, and clearing for imported products.
- Use the latest updated pricing model inputs.
