Job requirements:

 

  • Project Management qualification in the Engineering / Construction industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the Engineering / Construction industry

Technical:

  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Behavioural:

  • Understand that Nuclear and conventional safety is the overriding priority of the company and commit to establishing, implementing, complying with, reviewing, and continuously improving the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Accept personal accountability for attitude and conduct of activities about Nuclear Safety and Nuclear Safety Culture
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Safety Regulations, Standards, and Engineering/Construction industry practices

 

Job responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Manage, monitor, and evaluate the Integrated Management System’s (IMS) effectiveness, and make improvement recommendations.
  • Ensure adherence to the IMS by all subordinates.
  • Implement and Maintain a Nuclear Safety Culture.
  • Perform and drive the performance of self-assessments within the company by all the relevant functions.
  • Support and drive the human performance awareness programs.
  • Implement and support nuclear safety awareness programs for the company.
  • Ensure the resolution of all non conformities and manage the relevant corrective actions.
  • Manage the execution of operations within contractual, financial, and safety requirements.
  • Ensure sound Project Management practices are followed during execution.
  • Manage staff in line with the Operations, Quality, and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage all operational staff.
  • Manage staff in line with the Human Relations and Safety policies and procedures.
