Divisions Manager

Job requirements:

  • Trade tested or Degree in Business Management
  • 7 years’ supervisory experience within the Bus industry
  • 2 years in a supervisory position managing a division within the engineering
  • Candidate must have knowledge of diesel mechanics, and the common issues encountered in the maintenance and repair of buses
  • Project Management Experience
  • Computer skills
  • People’s skills
  • Valid Driver’s licence

 

Job responsibilities:

The Divisions Manager oversees and coordinates all operational activities within the division, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe running of projects and operations. This role demands strategic planning, effective leadership, and continuous improvement to align with organizational goals.

Specific Requirements/Additional information

  • The key attributes we’re looking for include:
    • Strong experience in preventative maintenance specific to buses
    • Proven ability to manage and run a busy workshop efficiently
    • A keen eye for identifying gaps in existing processes and procedures
    • The capability to implement improvements where needed and ensure current systems are being followed correctly

    While we understand that many candidates come from a truck background, we are more likely to consider those with a stronger track record in the bus industry.

 

  • You may be required from time to time to travel to other branches and may be required to work overtime and be on standby, should the need
