Job requirements:
- A minimum of an Electrical qualification with a Wireman’s license.
Job responsibilities:
- Manage all technical construction aspects of Solar PV projects within the Projects Department.
- Drive all construction works with construction teams/subcontractors and commissioning phases of a project.
- Hand over all relevant technical project and commissioning documentation to the appointed Project Manager.
- Assist with any business development requirements focused on continual improvement of the department’s operations and efficiencies.
- Assist the Engineering Department in completing designs relating to the renewable energy system to which he is appointed to manage.
- All planning responsibilities relating to the project schedule must be maintained by the Construction Manager and communicated with internal management on an ongoing basis.
- Tasked with developing and maintaining quality control procedures on each project to ensure the product meets company standards.
- Continual visibility into the latest technological and product developments must be monitored to ensure the best solution can be offered to the client.
- To ensure projects are of high quality, in line with company standards, and keep the construction teams on schedule with the project schedules.
- Adhere to and maintain project Health and Safety site requirements.
- Implement project construction in line with engineering mechanical and electrical designs.
- Assist in the design of solar PV energy systems.
- Ensure all ISO9001 and ISO45001 compliances are met during construction.
