Job requirements:
- Electrical Engineering Diploma and/or higher
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Marine production background advantageous
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and ERP software
- Knowledge of Codes, ASME, ABS, DNV, IMCA and more
- Valid Drivers License and own vehicle,
- Only Cape Town Candidates to apply
- Must be criminal clear
Job responsibilities:
- Draw up a product realization plan, including all relevant activities such as procurement, internal and/or external manufacturing, human-, material- and tool resources, testing and documentation
- Review and understand product electrical specification or other documentation that indicates what needs to be produced. These include standard products and customer projects technical specifications, manuals, codes & regulations, engineering drawings etc
- Ensure that all relevant documentation for a product or system, must be comprehensive, correct and completed on time and handed to documentation collation section.
- External Fabrication data book (including QCP)
- Audits, such as IMCA etc.
- Factory Acceptance Test
- Inspection Reports (General)
- Inspection Reports as per the requirements of IMCA
- Inspections Reports as per the requirements of 3rd Party’s
- External Inspection Reports
