Safety Officer – SACPCMP

Job requirements:

• Relevant Safety Certificates (Samtrac, etc)
• Must be SACPCMP Registered
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle,
• Only Cape Town Candidates to Apply

Responsibilities & Duties

• Ensure workplace safety complies with HSE statutory requirements
• Implement and promote HSE programs
• Incident investigation
• Conduct regular safety induction training, safety briefing, etc.
• Ensuring subcontractors comply with the OSH Act as well as the Company’s HSE Management System and our client’s safety requirements
• Update and monitor safety statistics
• Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated, and recommended improvements implemented.
• Establish a full programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits, and checks
• Establish a structured programme of health & safety training through the company
