Red Seal Maintenance Electrician

Qualification & Experience

• Trade Certificate
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an electrician
• Experience of working in a Steel Manufacturing Plant

Essential responsibilities and requirements

• Diagnose and repair faults in PLC control system.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical distribution system.
• Working knowledge of generators and compressors.
• General maintenance of plant equipment.
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Must be able to do new installation (wiring panels).
• Experience in working with AC and DC motors.
• Experience in working on cranes.
• Experience in working with conveyors.
• Experienced in instrumentation (pressure switchers, flow meters, temperature controllers, thermo couples, proxy’s and limits).
• Experienced in hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Experience of 11 KV switching will be an advantage.
• Must be able to work without supervision.
• Must be able to work in team.
• Should not be afraid of heights (acrophobic).
