JOB TITLE: Technical Sales Project Manager – offshore oil and gas

REPORTING TO: Sales manager – Africa

LOCATION: Live in West Africa on a rotational basis, office based in Cape Town

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To grow service delivery to new and existing clients in new geographies, helping set up new businesses in various West African countries, predominantly Angola.

Customer management and one point of contact for the company’s sales and commercial matters. Develop key and Strategic customer relationships to the next high level.

Key Responsibilities

·       Provide solid field and marketing strategy to grow business in new geographies

·       Responsible for Key account management and Customer satisfaction.

·       Responsible for Key Customer complaints and follow up.

·       Ability to Drive revenue growth through expanding service delivery

·       Define and drive strategic initiatives that will help achieve business objectives

·       Accurately capture sales funnel

·       Stakeholder management-become the single point of contact for his/her portfolio

·       Ability to execute as per the projected forecast

·       Achieve predetermined revenue and funnel targets

·       Accurately document all sales activities

·       Have a 360 view of all account activities in Africa and inform business of any key developments

·       Compile product preparations and solution proposals

·       Sales administration and reporting

·       Market research and keeping up to breast with industry developments

·       Follow-up for on Receivables

·       Continuous growth of the sales funnel and effective close out rate

·       It should be noted that the role will not be limited to managing key accounts only but will also require cultivating and driving new customer growth.

Responsibilities

  2. Speak English and  Portuguese/French
  3. Strong technical knowledge of cranes and offshore installations
  4. Strong business development skills, be outgoing and motivated
  5. Project management ability
  6. Commercial mindset
  7. Requirement  :  Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree3-5 years’ experience in the offshore and or energy industry with proven Project Sales experience (Cranes / Lifting Machinery)
