Job responsibilities:

  • Contact transporters daily
  • Booking of vehicles from transporters
  • Requesting rates from transporters
  • Preparing trip sheets for all regions
  • Generate a tracking report spreadsheet on excel and updating daily
  • Calling drivers
  • Giving updates to the relevant sales team
  • Resolving any logistics queries
  • Receiving and matching invoices with PO’s
  • Checking that POD’s / DN are correct
  • Communicating with Cold Stores (x3)

Specific Requirements/Additional information

  • Matric
  • Tertiary education will be advantageous
  • General computer literate at least intermediate level (Windows, MS Word and excel)
  • 3 – 5 years relevant experience
  • SAP Business one advantageous
