Job requirements:
- Relevant tertiary education advantageous
- An excellent telephone manner combined with the capability of dealing with people at all levels
- Minimum 4-6 years’ experience working within an executive PA role
- Ability to work in a high-pressured and dynamic environment
- Ability to understand business and operations process
- Ability to show their own initiative and run with tasks allocated to them
- Excellent level of emotional intelligence
- Professional and well presented
- Good communication skills
- Must be flexible and be able to work overtime, when necessary, as per operational requirements of the department.
- Computer proficiency: packages required are MS Word, Excel
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Preferable to have an interest in business management and operations
Job responsibilities:
- Drafting letters and other documentation
- Contact with clients when required
- Effectively managing and coordinating the Group Executive and Marketing team diary, setting up meetings and arranging meeting facilities
- Ensure timeous and comprehensive preparation and collation of information for meetings in order that the Group Executive is properly organized and prepared for such meetings
- Interact with internal departments
- Follow up on Group Executive action items from previous meetings / minutes and assist in timeous completion
- Arranging conferences, functions and events as required or directed by the Group Executive
- Planning and organizing travel arrangements and itineraries both local and international Attend to * Screen and manage telephone calls ensuring detailed and accurate recording of message
- Maintaining a satisfactory, appropriate, and up to date filing system that facilitates easy access to and fast retrieval of documents
- Ad hoc office duties
Specific Requirements/Additional information
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Administrative and/or Secretarial qualification
- MS Office with experience in preparing PowerPoint presentations.
- Excellent typing skills.
