(Lead)Mechanical Engineer – Product Development

Job requirements:

• BSc/ MSc. educated in the direction of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a multidisciplinary high-tech environment, machine building or production-related environment as an engineer.
• You have a good command of the English language, and you have a pro-active and positive attitude
• You are strong in stakeholder management and a solid discussion partner.
• Experience with the management/coordination of engineers will consider this as a plus.

Job responsibilities:

• Working on challenging projects at the interface of mechanics and mechatronics.
• Contributing to (mostly) mechanical and innovative solutions from concept to test phase.
• Development of advanced products for different markets.
• Products that place high demand on functionality, quality, design, and appearance and that are also produced in large quantities.
• Involved in new developments in the field of modular and circular product innovations.
• Work independently but are also able to supervise a (small) team of engineers depending on the size and complexity of the project and in good cooperation with a senior engineer.
• Operate as a foreman and able to manage communication with our customers.
• Monitor the progress of projects, and you take care of stakeholder management
