6 Month Contract Position
*Ensure alignment to client, OCIMF & Industry requirements within set timelines
*Carry out training sessions, audits, inspections, assessments – as required, to ensure vessel & staff are aligned to company requirements & expectations
*Provide support, follow up & verification to ensure audit findings are closed out promptly
*Management System documents review, development, improvement & implementation, including preparedness for various internal and external audits – TMSA, SIRE, etc.
*Conduct incident investigations. develop lessons learned and safety flashes
*Report on SHEQ performance, statistics, investigations, training and audit results timeously
*Prepare internal / external reports & presentations
The Ideal Candidate:
*Must have Class 2/3 Deck certificate of Competency, with Tanker Endorsement
*Alignment to IOC / Energy Majors and tanker Management expectations & requirements
*Strong compliance, auditing & investigation skills
*Self motivation individual who has excellent conceptual, action orientated, analytical thinking & interpersonal skills
*Team member with influential ability & strong client services focus
*Prepared to travel & holds a valid Drivers License
