Technical Quality Controller

Job requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality control within a powder coating environment
• Grade 12 / Matric qualification
• Good Interpersonal skills & communication skills
• Teamwork abilities
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings and compare to produced goods
• Ability to analyze and interpret information
• Attention to detail & accuracy of work

Job responsibilities:

• Inspecting metal parts after pre-treatment and before powder coating
• Inspecting metal parts after powder coating ensuring quality standards are met
• Responsible for ensuring non-conformances are generated, issued, and closed out
• Prepare critical inspection reports and record inspection results
• Ability to communicate with production teams to improve product quality
• Be able use measuring equipment to perform duties
