Business Development

Job requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Business Management with strong technical background
- 5 years or more in business development (market development experience)
- 5 years or more experience in the mining sector in South Africa
- Previous history of business development within mines outside of South-Africa (advantageous)
- Experience in selling de-watering equipment/water treatment solutions (advantageous)
Job responsibilities:
- Identify prospective customers by using online/offline business directories.
- Create and follow leads from existing clients.
- Attend and present at trade shows and conferences.
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how specific products and solutions can meet their needs.
- Ensure all sales orders are correctly bulked and processed into our ERP system, Delta.
- Report on business development opportunities including detail on customer success probability, customer order potential, customer needs and potentially relevant to the company needs.
- Ability to travel at least 60% of the time.
- Remain in frequent daily/weekly communication with the sales engineer for demos/product training/technical support
