Sheet Metal Material Handler/Co-ordinator

Job Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• A valid forklift license
• Minimum 2 years within a well-structured sheet metal fabrication environment
• Fully English literate (read, write, and speak) as this is our official company language.
• Well organized and meticulous related to administration and paperwork
• Excellent organizing and prioritizing skills
• Flexible, with attention to detail and can work efficiently under pressure in a very busy workshop
• Ability to work independently and be self-driven
• Neat image and presentation
• Ability to identify various different material types

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily stock controlling, stock-take and managing of off-cut sheet metal pieces
• Weekly stock controlling, stock-take and managing of full sheets of various sheet metal material
• Maintaining the good order of the stock of the various sheet metal materials and managing the minimum quantities thereof
• Generating a purchase order request when necessary
• Manage and regulate the movement of the various sheet metal materials between the operating machines as per the daily production plan to ensure maximum productivity of the various production machines.
• Daily, Weekly and monthly reporting
