Draughtsman

MUST HAVE: Non-Negotiable:

• At least a Nat Diploma (N6) GCC and or B Degree Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Project Management qualification or experience
• Budget experience
• Engineering Design experience

Experience using the following 3D modelling programs:

• Solidworks
• Autodesk – Inventor

Duties:      

• Project Management
• Budget control
• Create / design 3D models of items to be machined for approval.
• Create dimensional drawings from approved 3D models for machining.
• Create 3D models structural items for approval.
• Create dimensional drawings from approved 3D models for steel structures.
• Create 3D models of sheet metal items for approval.
• Create dimensional drawings from approved 3D models for sheet metal parts.
• Create dimensional orthographic views for costing.
• Interpret hand sketches and instruction into conceptual drawings.
• Stress and deflection analysis of assemblies.
• Failure analysis of assemblies.
• Create 3D models of jigs for approval.
• Create dimensional drawings for manufacture of jigs.
• Creating DXF/DWG files of subassemblies for outsourcing to other companies.
