Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 (minimum)
- D Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Diploma / Certificate in sales & marketing from a tertiary institution
- Sales, administration and marketing skills
- Marine services industry experience
- Communication all levels, both written and oral
- Sales Negotiations
- PC literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Technically competent
- Experience with a CRM system
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- Able to work under pressure
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify new market opportunities
- Identify potential customers
- Meet regularly with clients, both on and off site.
- Use the latest updated pricing model inputs
- Negotiate preliminary contracts with customers
- Develop customer accounts with a focus on offering additional value-added services
- Give input to new business opportunities
- Ensure that RFQ forms are filled out correctly and submitted in an efficient manner
- Facilitate showroom sales
- Respond timeously to Customer requests
- Booking out of stock and liaising with the stores for stock
- Assisting the finance department with customer queries
- Set quarterly sales strategies
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers for pricing and lead times
- Be able to work flexible hours to meet customer requirements
- May be required to travel from time to time between branches
