Senior Plant Operator

Job Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Mineral Processing plants
• Valid Passport
• Valid Police Clearance Certificate
• Valid Seafarers Medical Certificate
• Seamans Book Record
• All STCW course and certificates must be valid

Job Responsibilities:

SHES

• Ensure compliance with Group Safety and Security policies
• Complete Risk Assessments on all Plant activities
• Ensure compliance with Permits to Work (Hot Work etc)

PRODUCTION

• Ensures PLANT team perform all required tasks
• Completes all tracer tests as directed by PLANT FOREMAN
• Routine operation of the SCADA process control system
• Ensures good housekeeping in all work areas
• When required assists technical team with equipment maintenance and repairs
• Assisting PLANT FOREMAN with trouble shooting investigations on Plant systems, rectifying problems, and suggestions for continuous improvement
• Assist with shift log sheets
