Trade Tested Diesel Mechanics required to work in Dunoon for 3 days
  • Sober drug free habits,
  • Must be able to compile a report therefore his reading and writing skills must be on par,
  • Must be able to work alone,
  • Must have a minimum diesel mechanic qualification
  • Must be able to diagnose problems,
  • Must be punctual
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays when required.
  • Must have a valid driving license,
The work scope will relate to stripping and overhauling of various make and models of engines.
  • Diagnosing engine problems
  • Cleaning of components,
  • Measuring and and capturing of components data
  • Must be able to compile a complete spares list.
  • Inspecting and repairing vehicles with diesel engines.
  • Fault-finding and reporting defects City defect repairs Handling routine repairs, including oil and tire changes.
  • Interpreting diagnostic test results accurately.
  • Writing and compiling detailed inspection reports and repair plans (Job cards and service schedules)
  • Leading and collaborating with a small team
  • Completing test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly Using power, machine, and hand tools safely
  • Following all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards
  • Carrying out regular interval services and inspections
