Job Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Certificate in Store keeping
  • Min 3 years’ work experience as Storeman with understanding of SAGE Evolution / Pastel
  • Mining industry experience.
  • All STCW offshore training and certificates must be valid
  • MFA (First Aid)
  • FF (Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting)
  • PST (Personal Survival Techniques)
  • PSSR (Personal Safety & Social Responsibility)
  • HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training)
  • CSA (Competence in Security Awareness)
  • Valid Police Clearance Certificate
  • Valid Passport
  • Valid Seafarers Medical Certificate.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Control and ensure the correct receiving, storing an issuing of all stock items
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder timeously
  • Manage all VDA (Vessel Dispatch Authority) for all items being sent off the vessel. Arrange relevant paperwork as directed by OTM
  • Manage receiving resupply, at sea or in port, in conjunction with OTM
  • Conduct regular stock count and spares audit and identify redundant and scrap stock as directed by OTM
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of all mining stores
  • Manage Stores documentation processing, using SAGE Evolution inventory management system
  • Generate daily and monthly Stores reports as directed by OTM
  • Ensure compliance with Group Safety and Security policies
  • Complete Risk Assessments on all activities
