Job Description
Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner, the responsibilities of the successful applicant will include, but are not limited to the following:
Key Performance Area:
- Payroll and Benefit Administration
- Recruitment process from start to end, ensuring a well-managed and efficient process i.e., being actively involved including preparing job descriptions, posting vacancies, and managing the talent hiring process at all levels
- Learning and development coordination including planning and delivering training as needed, learner management and support, and completion of WSP / ATR
- Ensure all administrative processes relating to employment are in line with business practices by ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information
- Employee engagement including interpreting and applying employment law and disciplinary action
- On-boarding and exits of employees, ensuring the process is efficient and well managed
- Manage job grading and salary bench-marking processes
- Assist in performance management processes
- Manage employee wellness and social initiatives
- Managing policies and procedures to ensure alignment across all departments
Qualifications:
- HR degree or equivalent
- Computer Literacy
- Code B (Code 8) or EB driver’s license
- MS Office – Specifically Outlook and Excel Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR Officer role
- Payroll, recruitment, training, performance management and IR experience a must
- Proven experience in SAP VIP systems and process implementation

- Ability to work methodically, accurately, neatly, and process-driven
- Able to meet deadlines, the ability to juggle multiple tasks and to prioritize workload Strictly confidential and ethical nature
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and written ability
- Excellent administration skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work on spreadsheets and manage data
- Proficient in MS-Office (MS-Excel intermediary level)
- Good interpersonal and co-ordination skills – ability to form working relationships with people at all levels • Able to work independently
- The ability to work under pressure and good time management skills
- Solid understanding of HR best practices and Labour Law
- Shows initiative
- Practical Experience of Cross Border Customs Clearance processes advantageous

- HR degree or equivalent
