Job Requirements:

  • NTC 3 Trade Theory certificate
  • 3-5 years’ experience in supervisory role.
  • Boilermaker Trade Test certificate
  • Offshore installation and Ship Building experience must-have.
  • Excellent work ethic and commitment to safe working.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Group Safety and Security policies and with Permits to work (hot work)
  • Complete Risk Assessments on all activities
  • Carries out welding, fabrication and related works as directed by the TECH SUPT
  • Maintains all welding equipment, gas bottles and lines in compliance with company standards.
  • Assists with the launch and recovery of the ROV seabed mining tool as required.
  • Ensures all housekeeping in relevant work areas meets required standards.
  • Ensures all work tools are safe and properly maintained and stowed.
