Red Seal Fitter & Turner

Job requirements:

• Red seal fitter & Turner,
• 8+ years of experience
• Some experience with operating CNC machines advantageous.
• 2 Month contract with option to go permanent

Job responsibilities:

• Run a small machine shop comprising of a lathe, milling machine and 3-axis CNC milling machine.
• Manufacture components as per drawing for use in our standardised product range.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to report back to engineering on possible improvements or issues that arise.
• Must be forward thinking and be able to develop ideas to increase efficiency on mass production parts.
• Must be ready to work as part of small, experienced team and be willing to debate ideas and take criticism.
• Ideal age would be 30 to 45 years old with some experience in operating CNC machines.
