Junior Mechanical Engineer

Job requirements:

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years’ experience with manufacturing of steel welded components.
• Experience with ISO 9001 is required.
• Experience with machining is advantageous.

Job responsibilities:

• Preparation and distribution of up-to-date drawings.
• Liaise with workshop and production and maintain schedules on Monday.com.
• Document control, building data packs, and providing support for the sales team.
• Design and development of new products.
• 3D modeling, experience with ProEngineer a bonus.
• Dynamic analysis and modeling of offshore systems using specialist software.
• Assist with quality control function.
• Assist with running of ISO 9001 system, Six Sigma, and process improvement.
• Attending design reviews and project closeout meetings.
• Development of procedures and documentation of work processes.
• Preparing director’s reports.
• Assist with customer follow-up and product management.
