Job requirements:
- BCom Hons essential, CA (SA) will be an added advantage.
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment at a senior managerial level, with experience from an industrial sector being an added advantage.
- Experience in fundraising and investor relations is key
Job responsibilities:
Financial Manager to lead and provide a strategic direction to all the business units as well as manage its Finance division and related workstreams.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the full finance and its related streams as well as play an oversight role on all operations of the business.
The role reports into the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Head Office located in Alberton, Johannesburg. Travelling across various offices across the country and abroad will be required from time to time. The incumbent will also be required to work closely with executives from different units, across different offices as well as external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, highly organized, have strong knowledge of the manufacturing industry, with an industrial sector experience being an added advantage, value generation driven, an ability to coach and mentor, and be hands-on, pragmatic and dynamic.

Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and debtors and creditors management
- Maintaining cashbooks and records
- Reporting to management and stakeholders
- Providing advice on future business decisions
- Leading the relationship between our business and external agents/ auditors
- Managing all taxation matters
- Adhering to financial regulations and legislation
- Reviewing monthly financial and management reporting
- Preparing budget forecasts
- Maintaining a control environment (monthly balance sheet reconciliations, P&L reviews)
- Monitoring internal financial controls
- Developing long-term business plans based on financial reports
- Developing risk minimizing strategies
- Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company
