Maintenance Assistant

• Assist with all minor and major services, repairs & refurbishment projects
• Perform all duties as assigned & keep accurate records of work hours, materials used & work completed
• Ensure materials, tools, & equipment are ulitized effectively and are well maintained
• Provider assistance and support to technicians and other team members during maintenance, repairs & refurbishment projects
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health & Environmental requirements
• Attend daily toolbox meetings
• Maintain the site aesthetics, cleanliness, housekeeping (ensuring workshop areas are clean) & safety aspects at the highest level
• Perform irregular, one-time special requests tasks related to the company
• Act as a stand in for colleagues as required from time to time

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license required
• Good time management skills
• Effective communication skills
• Matric certificate
• Experience working with engines and/or in the marine field is beneficial
